Introducing the Maia, one of our three stoneware lamp bases new to the Nickey Kehoe Collection. Shown here in Fern, the Maia is distinguished by a satisfying field of horizontal ridging on a Grecian amphora silhouette. Wheel thrown in iron red clay and  glazed in striking Green Oribe, a traditional glaze developed during the Japanese Momoyama period (1573-1615).
